The Ultimate Doom is a classic first-person shooter game developed and published by Acid Software in 1995. It is an updated version of the original Doom game, featuring new levels and enhanced graphics.
The player takes on the role of an unnamed Marine, who must battle their way through various demon-infested levels of a Mars research facility. Along the way, the Marine encounters different types of enemies, from imps and zombies to cacodemons and cyberdemons.
The Ultimate Doom consists of three episodes, each with nine levels. In addition, it includes a fourth episode, "Thy Flesh Consumed," which was previously released as freeware. The game supports both single-player and multiplayer modes, allowing players to face off against their friends online.
